163rd Liberian Independence Day with Her Excellency Madam President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at the Presidential Palace in Sanniquellie, Nimba County

Congratulations, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.  Your dedication to keeping peace in Liberia is evident, and we are glad you have been recognized for your accomplishments.  The first original play by B4 Youth Theatre highlighted a section of your book, This Child Will Be Great, because your words encouraged the people of Liberia to join together and rebuild a great nation.  We understand that more work has to be done, but we thank you for all that you have done in the short period of time.  We trust that if given a second term, you will continue to fulfill your promises to the people of Liberia bringing jobs, providing agricultural assistance so that people can grow their own rice, building schools and clinics.  We see the progress everyday as new roads are built and K-9 education is free; it’s not easy but we can make it step by step.

Congratulations and thank you!
